Goose Hunting
I guarantee a hassle-free, professionally-ran goose hunt!
Geese numbers in theEagle
Lake and
Garwood, Texas prairies are spectacular. Species that winter in this area include Snows, Blues and Ross Geese, Speckled Bellies (White-Front geese), and Lesser Canadas.
I have been guiding for Butch's Guide Service in Katy since 1989. Many properties managed by the outfitter include non-hunted roost ponds that hold birds on the property.
We have approximately 12,000 hunt-able acres to choose from. Fields are scouted each evening to locate the prime hunting spot for the next day’s hunt.
We hunt over a spead of Silosocks and Deadly Decoys. The decoy spread is set out early in the morning before hunters arrive to make the hunt more enjoyable and easy for all.
I shuttle hunters out to the spread by 4-wheeler, and Hunters help pick up the decoys at the end of the hunt.
White Parkas are supplied. Your geese can be taken to a local picker for cleaning.
Sandhill Crane hunts are also available - call for details.

PRICE: $175 per gun
Hunts must be booked in advance.
A deposit of $100 per gun is required to hold reservations. Large parties and corporate groups are welcome.
Hunting Seasons are set by the end of August. Please call to check dates
and availability.

5 guns Monday through Thursday
6 guns Friday through Sunday
will be combined with other hunters to make a full party. We can hunt
up to 12 hunters at a time.
